Social & Emotional Skills for Pre-Teens

A five-week course for youth ages 10-12 to learn to make healthy choices and resist unhealthy behaviors. This program is designed to be a psychoeducational course to help youth learn and use social and emotional competency skills.

Youth will work on:

  • Respect for Self and Others

  • Conflict Resolution

  • Anger Management

  • Identifying & Managing Bullying Situations

  • Media Violence

  • Goal Setting

  • Decision Making

  • Identifying and Managing Emotions

  • Effective Communication

  • Bonding and Relationships


Class Details

  • Pre-registration required

  • $45 non-refundable/transferable class fee

  • Sessions held specific consecutive Wednesdays 4-6pm

  • Parent/Guardian attendance in class is highly encouraged from 5:30-6 pm each class
